Guided Walk to Cullingsbrough

Saturday & Sunday, transport to Cullingsbrough leaves the school at 11.15

The walk includes the cross shaped St Mary's Kirk and 10th century grave yard, abandoned croft settlement, neolithic turf covered dyke, ruined broch, picturesque shoreline views (seals & otter spotting possible).

Open Gardens

Saturday & Sunday 2pm - 5pm

Gardie House gardens are open for visitors. Walled gardens, woodland walks, artworks to discover, or just sit in peace. Wheelchair access. No dogs please.

Knowes garden. Secluded croft garden with lovely views on Bressay's east side.

Speldiburn Cafe

Open Saturday & Sunday 11am - 5pm

Bressay Heritage Centre

Open Saturday 10am - 4pm, Sunday 11am - 5pm

Rebuilt & replica burnt mounds. This year's exhibition includes Bressay's role in WWI and the history of Keldabister Farm

Treasure Hunt

Walk, cycle or take the car. This time the questions are all nature related. Forms can be picked up from the school or the Heritage Centre on Saturday or Sunday. Good luck!
