We are looking for folk who can assist in the cafe on weekdays. This would suit someone looking for a flexible / part-time role. Begining April / 1st May.

Rate of pay for over 18's is £13.45 per hour. Under 18's based on age and experience.

Speldiburn Cafe Cook

Cook – Speldiburn Cafe
Full-time or job share beginning April or by the 1st of May. This will be full time until the end of October with an opportunity for part time hours through the winter. We are happy to consider applicants available for shorter periods of time - especially thse availavle during term time.

Hourly rate – £13.45 (over 18s)

This is a great opportunity to join our friendly team at Speldiburn (20min walk from the ferry).

Speldiburn is Bressay’s vibrant community hub and arts centre. Our café is central to everything we do; from providing a friendly setting for local folk to welcoming tour groups and supporting local activities and events.

We are happy to provide training, and we can help with any of the following areas. Ideally, we are looking for someone with: -

• Great cooking and baking skills
• A passion for local food
• Menu planning and event catering capabilities
• Ability to manage stock and keep records
• Experience working in a busy kitchen
